like most of the country during lockdown, along with baking banana bread and trying our hand at pizza-making, myself and my sister revisited our bar-tending days and started experimenting with different cocktail recipes. and of course had a great old time "sampling" them!
one of the most important elements was how a cocktail was presented.
and so, with summertime already upon us and get-togethers back in full-swing it's time to get your bar cart (in whatever form that takes be it an actual cart, cupboard, sideboard, a tray or a whole cabinet!) prepped and ready for action.
if like me, you insist that your cocktails taste nicer in fancy glassware our vintage-style cocktail glasses are perfect for a sipper cocktail or to jazz up a humble pink lemonade. plonk a wild flower sprig inside and you're done.
if a whiskey sour or gin fizz is more to your taste, our cut glass tumblers are the perfect size. Add some edible flowers to decorate + enjoy!
the all-important mixologist' kit. our golden cocktail kit has everything you need to whip up all your favourite tipples and gold metal straws for the finishing touch!
to keep everything together looking neat you're going to need a tray of some sort. anything on a tray looks neater and more finished. this white marble tray is ideal and will suit any interior.
now, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, so I’m off to whip up a raspberry gin fizz!
