I'm hesitant to mention the 'C' word before Halloween but we all know how quickly the time flies by at this time of year so it's no harm to start thinking about your festive decorating now so it's not all a mad dash on Christmas week.
I love to add a special piece or two to my collection every year, usually during a festive family day out at a fair or on our annual Christmas weekend to the Big Smoke. Every decoration I have is cherished and holds such happy memories of those times spent together. I'm so excited to now have my own collection and to share what I have been gathering for you!
We've curated three collections for our Christmas shop so hopefully you'll find something you love that you might want to add to your collection or as a gift to someone special.
The Enchanted Collection is an heirloom collection of luxury decorations from Goodwill M&G Belgium, known the world over for their enchanting decorations. Willow had lots of fun helping me pick some of these special pieces. Her favourites are the glistening mermaids, flying unicorns and dancing ballerinas!
Our Bohemian + Bright collection will appeal to those who love a more alternative non-traditional style of festive decorating. It's all about artisanal decorations in interesting materials such as paper mache and jewel-coloured glass baubles.
This stunning cobalt blue crackle glass ornament is one of my absolute favourites!
The Rustic Luxe collection features a more neutral palette of decorations featuring earthy woody textures offset by gold and silver metallics and glistening pearl finishes. Mixing rustic materials with some sparkle creates a beautiful contrast and a cosy feel to your space.
I love these pinecone Christmas tree decorations from Bloomingville. They'd look fantastic dotted along your mantle with some t-lights or even down the centre of your table for a rustic tablescape.
These little metal candle houses are great for creating little Christmas villages and for styling with other pieces to create magical little vignettes for a hall table or sideboard.
Happy festive decorating!
